When Slovenian Alpine Museum has contacted us to create a piece for their upcoming exhibition, we took the task very seriously. Realizing the responsibility when it comes to children education, we wanted to make sure that our project would be both educative and entertaining, as we believe that kids can learn the most through interaction and story telling.
When we were designing the puzzle, we paid special attention to details like colour, thickness and size of different elements. Coloured landscape pieces give the possibility to have different seasons, while two different thicknesses allow you to create different levels to represent small hills, mountains, rocks and forests. Included set of animals shows children the variety of animals living in the Julian Alpes area. The puzzle teaches children not only about the specifics of that particular flora and fauna, but also gives unlimited options of puzzle connections together, giving room to story telling play process.
