Wooden lamp – Sun basket

This lamp was inspired by the traditional slovene craft of basket-weaving; especially a round type of basket with uneven floor, called CAJNA. Baskets have always been a very fine craft, thus the more special editions had not only functional, but also decorative character: with coloured ribbons included in the upper part.

Wooden lamp made of birch wood. Designed and produced in Slovenia. Hand-brushed and oiled in our atelier.

Ribbons, cable and a wooden rose for ceiling is included in the price. You can choose from version with or without “basket” handle (see photos).

Make your own version and choose the colour of ribbons and cable. If you are looking for a more minimalistic version, the holes and ribbons can be left out for a more stylized look.

 

Dimensions:

H= 25 cm (without handle) or 34 cm (with handle); 2r= 52cm

A smaller version is also possible: H= 20/ 28cm and 2r= 42cm.
